The Head Coach of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso ,Oladunni Oyekale has showered encomium on his players for the victory recorded at the Agege Stadium in Lagos in the Group B2 Week four(4) match fixtures of the NNL against Stationery Stores Football Club of Lagos.
The ex – international and former Gombe United FC gaffer praised his boys for the performance that gave the team the first away victory having played to instruction.
‘ I’m happy for the win which can largely be attributed to God’s favour, playing to instructions and having a united house’.
‘The coming of the Oyo State Commissioner of Youths and Sports Development, Honourable Seun Fakorede, his motivational talk and goodwill message from His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde,the Executive Governor of Oyo State crowned it all not forgetting the motivational incentives rolled out by the management headed by Mr Rollanson Odeh’, the former Elkanemi Warriors lanky tireless forward said.
On the team preparedness ahead of the remaining games of the season,Dunni, as the gaffer is fondly called said;
‘ I have told my boys not to let the victory get into their heads. Say no to high shouldering as there are still more to be done to achieve the set objectives for the season. They must improve on their present state’.
‘But sincerely I appreciate my lads and colleagues for a job well done. I’m optimistic the tempo will be maintained and we will have causes to laugh at the end of the season’, he posited.
The Ajilete Warriors, the current Group B2 table topper is byed in the Week five (5) match fixtures so will continue preparation earlier for the tasks ahead when the NNL resume for the continuation of games on January 10th 2020 after the Xmas break.
