There are strong indications that the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba will have a new electronic scoreboard when Rahimo of Burkina Faso come calling on November 29 for the first leg match of the preliminary round fixture of the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League, Orient Sports reports.
Checks reveal that the new electronic scoreboard which will replace the malfunctioning old one has already been procured while work on its installation has commenced at the site.
Our crew saw work in progress at the site while the Gov Okezie Ikpeazu Preseason Tournament was going on.
“We hope to have the new electronic scoreboard ready before the Enyimba continental match against (Rahimo) Burkina Faso”, offered one of the workers tersely even as he refused to disclose his name.
It was further gathered that the floodlight at the stadium will also be upgraded.
