The Chairman if the Board of Reining Female Aiteo Cup Champion Bayelsa Queens Pastor Robin Apreala has assured the Government and people of the State of early and adequate preparation ahead of the new Nigeria Woman Football League slated to kick off on December 8, 2021.
Robin Apreala stated this when addressing newsmen in Lagos at the end of the NWFL Congress where the date and format for next league season was agreed by the seventeen clubs.
He also outlined sone preparatory tournaments Bayelsa Queens will engage in to include the Besty Obaseki Invitational Cup holding in Benin City from the 26th of September as well as the 2021 edition of the Flying Officers Cup in Abuja.
Pastor Apreala however thanked the Bayelsa State Government of Senator Douye Diri and his Deputy Senator Lawrence Ehwruhjakpo for the massive support given to the team. He equally appreciated the role of the Honorable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Dr Daniel Igali is the successful outing for Bayelsa Queens in last season Aiteo Cup triumph.
The Chairman also used the opportunity to thank the Nigeria Woman Football League for adding value to the girl child with the level Women Football has attained in 2021 particularly in hosting of the Aisha Buhari Invitational Championship in Lagos.
