Ex 36 Lion Accademy starlet Otto John has emerged champions of the Kosovo Superliga with Prishtina football club with a game to spear after they defeated Gjilani 2-1 at the Stadiumi i qytetit Gjilan (Gjilan (Gnjilane)).
The 23-years-old Nigerian striker however couldn’t add to his tally of 10 goals and two assists in the Kosovo top tier.
Otto John lists KF Skënderbeu and KF Trepca 89 as his former clubs.
On 8 January 2020, John joined Football Superleague of Kosovo side Prishtina. One month later, he made his debut with Prishtina in the quarter-final of 2019–20 Kosovar Cup against Vushtrria after being named in the starting line-up and scored two goals during a 4-1 home win.
John was born in Akwa Ibom, the striker stated that he grew up idolizing Didier Drogba due to his force and Samuel Eto’o due to his scoring abilities.
