The Supporters Club of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, held its annual pre-season prayers on Thursday, ahead of the 2023/24 NPFL season which commences this Saturday.
The well-attended meeting saw prayers being offered for the team’s success in this season’s campaign
Christian and Muslim clerics anchored the prayer sessions at the program held at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.
The Supporters Club used the occasion in honoring the Executive Chairman of the 3SC, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, the Acting General Manager cum Team Manager, Dimeji Lawal, Technical Adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, Honourable Gbenga Adewusi Arole and the chairman, Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Oyo State chapter, Niyi Alebiosu.
Present at the event were the executives and members of the Supporters Club, including the Chairman, of 3SC Supporters Club, Mr Femi Ajala, the Chairman, of Oyo State General Sports Supporters’ Club, Mr. Femi Oyeniyi, and others.
The 3SC contingent at the prayer meeting included the Executive Chairman, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, the acting GM/TM, Dimeji Lawal, Technical Adviser of the club, Gbenga Ogunbote, the club’s Administrative Officer, Mr Babayemi A.T, and other members of the technical crew, backroom staff and the players among others.
