Prostar Sports International, in partnership with the Nigeria National League (NNL), has unveiled the winners of the December 2024 Monthly Awards. This program is designed to recognize and celebrate exceptional talent, discipline, and achievements in Nigerian football, marking a significant stride in promoting excellence within the league.

The awards spanned various categories, spotlighting remarkable performances during the opening month of the 2024/2025 NNL season. Utum Godswill Solomon of Wikki Tourists FC emerged as the Best Goalkeeper, achieving an incredible four clean sheets in as many matches. At 7.1 feet, Solomon’s commanding presence has been pivotal for his team.

Ebrima Manneh, a 16-year-old prodigy from Sporting Supreme FC, claimed two awards: Highest Goal Scorer and Most Valuable Player. With four goals and two Man of the Match performances, the teenager—affectionately known as “Val”—has quickly become a rising star. Meanwhile, Best Coach honors went to Okechukwu Ejeh of Abia Comets FC, whose tactical brilliance led his team to an unbeaten run, including two away wins.

Discipline was also celebrated, as Smart City FC of Lagos received the Best Behaved Team award for their impeccable sportsmanship, finishing the month without a single caution. Officiating excellence was acknowledged with Momoh Camara of the Nasarawa State Referees Council named Best Referee, supported by the NNL’s live-streaming partner, Sports Light Hub.

Ambassador Paul Maduakor, CEO of Prostar Sports International, praised the awardees, emphasizing the company’s commitment to elevating Nigerian football. “These awards symbolize our dedication to rewarding talent, discipline, and hard work. Prostar Sports International is honored to partner with the NNL in inspiring the next generation of football stars,” Maduakor remarked.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for January 22, 2025, at the NNL Secretariat in Abuja. Fans and stakeholders are invited to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of these individuals and teams, as this collaboration sets a new benchmark for professionalism and performance in Nigerian football.
