The Technical Adviser of GoRound FC Smart Justin describes his target for the team and opportunities given to the grassroot players.
Speaking with the editor of www.goalintense.com.ng he said scouting for players was interesting and procedural.
“Taking about new players , I scouted for few of them and you know me to be the kind of a grassroot coach which has resulted to giving opportunities to those players that are not really exposed but have great potentials.”
“Last season has gone, we had a sound team when we played in the NPFL but we had little issues which has been sorted out and we are fully ready for this season to be where we truly belong (NPFL).”
“Playing Shooting Stars FC in the first game of the season will be difficult but we are preparing hard to get the three points away from home.”
“As you know my target is to bring Go Round FC back to NPFL. That’s where we truly belong.”
“Yes we still retain some of our players where the Captain Stanley Ewoolu is also inclusive, and the vice Captain Emmanuel Onyedika had to stay for proper blending of the team and you know Emmanuel was the player that scored the winning goal when we played Abia warriors in Abia State last season.”
The new season of NNL will start 22nd of November,2019 as released by the NNL governing body.
