The Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Foundation (SACF), a Charity Foundation committed to the education and empowerment of the indigent child, has announced a novel charity campaign as part of its as part of its larger fundraising strategy to support the education of indigent children in society.
The foundation has launched a “Support a Child Jersey” campaign encouraging individuals and corporate bodies to buy uniquely designed SACF “Support a Child” Jerseys.
The launch is part of the line up of SACF 2019 activities which included the SACF Northeast U13 Football Tournament held in Gombe and will culminate with its annual Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Mini Tournament (SACMT).
The 6th Edition of the SACMT will take place on the 29th of December at the Campos Mini Stadium and will comprise of youth, veteran and celebrity football who will be kitted by one of Nigeria’s top kit makers, Owu Sports. It will include appearances by Ex international footballers, performances by various comedians and music artists at this yearly End of Year Fiesta to feed and fete at least 1000 (one thousand) indigent children.
All the proceeds from the SACF “Support a Child Jersey” campaign will be used to provide educational scholarships for indigent children. Support the cause and spread the word on various social media handles using the hashtag #SupportAChildJersey.
“SACF is totally committed to every talented indigent child. We believe each and every one of them deserves an education and should not be deprived of that platform merely because of the circumstances of their parents’ finances. It is therefore a privilege for us to partner with the above kit manufacturers EROC in order to raise funds to support our children in need,” said SACF Chairman Arch.
