Nigeria national handball team couldn’t consolidate on their hard fought win against Libya as they succumbed to a 30-24 defeat to Guinea in a classification match at the Africa Handball Nations Cup in Tunisia.
In what was expected to be a must win match for the coach Salami tutored side, the boys couldn’t match up to the fire power of the Guineans as they lost 16-11 in the first half and a lost 14-13 in the second half despite a late surge which subjected them to three defeats in 4 matches.
Nigeria will play Kenya in a loser’s match on Wednesday.
