The infamous Kebbi-born star, Zaidu Sanusi highly notorious for his rocket speed attributes and pin-point crosses as a left back in his specialty has been making waves in the headlines recently following his successful move from Santa Clara to F.C Porto.
It was a tug of war before the Portuguese champion, F.C Porto could secure his signature as confirmed by reports that Olympiacos of Greece were also interested in snapping up Zaidu Sanusi and went head to head at the last minute against Porto to convince the fast-rising Nigerian defender over a possible move to Greece.
However, both the club and the player have already given their ward to F.C Porto which saw the 23 year old penning a 5 year deal contract that would keep him at F.C Porto till 2025.
Should he continue to put on an impressive performance at his new club, a national call up looks imminent to strengthen the team’s defence. His addition to the team would mean the Super eagles making use of his exceptional qualities which would accelerate the national team’s performance at the big stage and could be highly devastating to opposing teams.
