Super eagles coach, Gernort Rohr has established firmly his team would not try to avenge their woes when they faceoff against Algeria in a friendly match this Friday.
Instrumental to Nigeria’s exit in the last African Cup of Nations was Algeria who edged out Nigeria with a sensational free kick from Riyadh Mahrez and that goal sent Nigeria packing from the competition while Algeria eventually became champions of Africa by edging out Senegal in an intense manner.
Now, the two African giants would look to battle it out again and Gernort Rohr has affirmed the match won’t look as personal as people would think it will be as goalintense.com.ng reports.
“It’s a match to test new players, we want to see what they are capable of, Algeria will be a big test for us, it’s a team that has been undefeated for 18 games and we will try to stop” He explained.
