Two times Afro Basketball winner and the Flammes Carolo Forward Evelyn Akhator will be missing the Tokyo 2020 Olympics games later this month.
The former WNBA player who was instrumental in Nigeria gold medals for two consecutive championships had some injuries that will hinder her participation in the championship.
According to the official D’Tigress team member;
“Evelyn Akhator took time off to get her body healthy and right, she’ll be back by his Grace for next competitions”
The team will heavily miss her shots and the agility in the field of play.
