Members of Barrier Foundation,Ilorin has lauded Kwara State Government for the appointment of great Sports personalities to steer the affairs of the newly established Kwara Sports commission.
Speaking through their spokesman, Rabiu Olayinka Jamiu(Otiji) expressed the confidence on the appointment of Veteran Coach Bola Magaji as the Chairman; Dr. Steve Olarinoye, the Director General and other Eight members of the commission to deliver their mandate.
“I want to assure all the appointees of our undiluted and unalloyed support towards the realisation of the commission’s thrust” Rabiu stated.
While calling on the appointees to better all expectations, he wished them a productive service and hope their emergence enhance sports development in the State.
The foundation, an initiative of ex-footballers who had played under late Coach A A Maleek (Barrier) of United Bombers represent their efforts in promoting and sustaining the legacy of the late gaffer.
