Super Eagles and Enyimba Int’l FC forward, Anayo Iwuala has joined Tunisian giants Esperance in a three-year deal worth about €500,000.
The 22-year old player will earn about €45,000 monthly aside allowances and bonuses. He came into limelight in the double header qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho earlier in the year.
He didn’t disappoint in both games where he came on as a substitute, He has not looked back ever since thus going ahead to feature in international friendlies in Austria. He was equally part of the recent International friendly with Mexico which was prosecuted by an entirely home based selected team.
Gernot Rohr has said of the player, “He is one player who is different from many of his colleagues in the domestic league.” Iwuala has shown great promises and may not spend much time in Esperance.
Iwuala joins the likes of Julius Aghahowa, Garba Lawal and Michael Eneramo who were all ex-internationals who featured for the club at separate times.
