The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has announced that the 2024 CAF Awards ceremony will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, on December 16. This marks the third consecutive year that Morocco has been chosen to host African football’s prestigious awards ceremony, following last year’s successful star-studded event.
Current holders of the prestigious African Player of the Year titles are both Nigerians, with Victor Osimhen claiming the men’s category and Asisat Oshoala securing the women’s honour. The exact starting time for the #CAFAwards24 ceremony will be announced by CAF at a later date.
The annual CAF Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in African football, recognizing exceptional performances in both club and national team competitions. The ceremony culminates in the presentation of the coveted CAF African Player of the Year awards for both men’s and women’s categories, representing the highest individual honour in African football.
