The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the Team of the Group Stage for the ongoing 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League. Edo Queens of Nigeria, who have reached the semi-finals, saw two of their standout players—Cordelia Odoma and Emmem Essien—recognized for their stellar performances.
Host club AS FAR (Morocco) dominated the team selection with four players, while Masar FC (Egypt) contributed two. Sundowns (South Africa) and TP Mazembe (DR Congo) had one player each named in the lineup.
The group stage concluded with four teams securing semi-final spots: Edo Queens, TP Mazembe, Masar FC, and AS FAR. In the upcoming semi-finals on Wednesday, Edo Queens will take on TP Mazembe, while Masar FC faces host club AS FAR.
