Chongming Stuns Paris with Last-Second Victory to Claim First FIBA 3×3 World Tour Title in Manama

Chongming (CHN) secured their first-ever FIBA 3×3 World Tour title with a dramatic 22-20 victory over Paris in the Manama Final. The Chinese squad’s triumph was sealed by ZhiChao Xiang’s clutch Maurice Lacroix Buzzer Beater, capping off an intense back-and-forth battle that saw both teams locked at 20-20 in the closing moments.

Tournament MVP Cameron Forte dominated throughout the competition, finishing as the event’s top scorer with 45 points and achieving a tournament-high player value of 55.8. The big man’s commanding presence in both offensive and defensive plays proved crucial in Chongming’s path to victory, complemented by the skilful playmaking of Karlis Lasmanis and the reliable contributions of Zhenhuan Liu and ZhiChao Xiang.

The final showcased intense competition from the opening minutes, with Paris matching Chongming’s paint dominance through Hugo Suhard’s sharp shooting and Rambaut’s strong interior play. The French side, previously unbeaten in the tournament, kept pace throughout the game, with the score tied at 10-10 midway through before foul trouble shifted momentum between both teams.

The event also celebrated individual excellence, with Paris’ Jules Rambaut claiming the 3×3 World Tour Manama Shoot-Out Contest presented by Tourism of Bahrain, while Joel Henry emerged victorious in the GFH Dunk Contest. The action continues as the World Tour moves to NEOM for its next stop on November 7-9, where teams will again compete for supremacy in this fast-paced format.
