Brazilian super star Neymar Jr is expected to be out for the next 6-8 weeks after he sustained an Injury during PSG 3-1 win away to St. Etienne on Sunday.
A statement from the club on Monday read;
“The examinations carried out last night confirm that Neymar Jr suffered from a sprained left ankle with ligament damage. An unavailability of 6 to 8 weeks is expected. A new update will be made in 72 hours to clarify the diagnosis,”
He’ll be expected to miss six to eight weeks
PSG have however been boosted by the return of Marco Verratti, who resumed training on Monday.
Mauro Icardi will report to training on Tuesday, while Georginio Wijnaldum has made godd progress and will be back in training this week.
