Emmanuel Osigwe ex-Eagles Ready For Club Coaching

Osigwe Emmanuel is one of the name that will come to mind when the chronicles of the Green Eagles of Nigeria in the mid 80s is told.

The former Rangers International FC of Enugu forward and Assistant Coach in a chat with Sportspro News recently said he is ready to throw his hat fully in to the ring of dug out business.

The Imo State born gaffer who is a graduate of English Language from the revered University of Cambridge in Englang is  not just a man with scintillating football career but a learned and lettered fellow.

“I am available to coach any club in Nigeria if they seek for my service. I believe with my experience as a footballer and a coach,I will be able to help any club realize their long term and shot term goals” Emmanuel quipped.

Osigwe who is a graduate of Nigeria Institute for Sports (NIS) holds among many other coaching qualifications; the CAF ‘B’ license and Royal Netherlands Football Association Academy (KNVB) certificate in coaching.

His credentials as a footballer includes ; National Bank FC of Lagos, African Continental Bank FC of Lagos, members Lagos State Football Team to the Kaduna National Sports festival in 1977 ,Rangers FC of Enugu before later doning the National Team jersey.

Born on the 6th of April 1952, Emmanuel was part of the Nigeria National team to the 1982 African Cup of Nations in Libya.
