The management of the Football Coaches Association of Africa Nations (FCAAN) has
released health and safety protocols ahead of the 2021 coaching education courses in Nigeria amidst ravaging coronavirus (COVID-19).
This is contained in a statement signed by FCAAN spokesperson, Mr Femi Amusan and made available to newsmen in Ibadan.
Explicit News reports that FCAAN, the largest African coaching education body, was founded by Dr. Terry Eguaoje.
Eguaoje reiterated FCAAN’s commitment towards providing professional environment for all coaches, players, staffs and educators.
He said that such would be achieved by adopting strict policies and procedures towards providing health as well safety standards in the era of COVID-19.
According to Eguaoje, “this protocol is needed in order to ensure that coaches, our staffs and educators are adequately protected.
“These are necessary steps to help protect against the spread of the virus among coaches, players and educators.”
Eguaoje, a Technical Director of Coaching in America, was recently appointed by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) as Consultant for Coaching and Development.
