Eighty Nine people have qualified for the final round of the ongoing Online Sports Quiz Competition organized by the Special Adviser to Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Youth and Sports, Aremo Gboyega Adelabu as part of the celebration of the 66th Birthday activities of the Governor which comes up on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.
Thousands of people participated in the first round, which took place on Wednesday, September 23 where a lady, Mrs Funke Olaniyi from Odo Otin Local Government and Mr. Kolawole Emmanuel from Ife East top the score sheet with 54 percent each.
Meanwhile, the last and final round, holding this Saturday will produce 20 winners who will all smile home with several gift items such as a laptop, Plasma TV, Gas Cylinder and cash prizes.
Those who qualified from the first round have been contacted through their email addresses and are enjoined to frequently check their mails for further information and instruction.
Chairman, organising Committee of the Competition Mr. Sikiru Tijani and the Secretary, Mr. Rasheed Jimoh in a statement said “the 20 final and outstanding winners shall be hosted at the Ilerioluwa Campaign Office, Ogo Oluwa, Osogbo on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at a prize giving ceremony where Governor Gboyega Oyetola and His Wife, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola are expected as the Distinguished Guests of Honour.”
