The news flying around the socal media and internet about the Shooting Stars Sports Club Head Coach, Edith Agoye is totally untrue.
This was stated clearly in an interview with www.goalintense.com.ng correspondent.
“I woke up this morning to another shocking news after the turmoil of my darling team final play off loss in the NNL for this season last night to hear that I have resigned my appointment with the 3SC international football Club, Ibadan.”
” This statement is totally untrue. I cannot come this far with a team which my blood inundates and back out like that.”
” My intention is to bring this team to the NPFL and stay put to work harder to win the league at the top level, this has not changed.”
When Eshin as he was fondly called in his playing days was asked about his immediate plans for the team. He responded that;
“I however apologise to the entire football lovers in the state and beyond who are with us through thick and thin that it came to this loss and inability to promote the team to the highest level this seson.
“It means to me that the whole team and the technical crew have more to do in the next season to get up there.”
” By God and with your backing, we WILL get there. I am still the Head Coach of this darling Club and I pleaded your support to fire more on all cylinders to get there next season. ”
“On behalf of the technical crew I ask for the forgiveness of all and your further support to get to the highest level. God bless you all.
