Nigerian Super Falcon defender Margaret Etim has express delight after joining the twelveth time Cyprus women league Champions Apollon Ladies FC, however stating that her target is to win titles with her new side.
The Cypriot-based club, Apollon Ladies on Sunday unveiled the signing of newly acquired players ahead of the 2021/2022 season.
Speaking from her base in Cyprus after the unveiling, Margaret Etim who joins from Rivers Angeles believe in her confidence to win laurels for the Jewel of Apollon.
“I have that confidence and the winning spirit in me, I know my purpose of being here is to achieve set goals and also to put heads together as we walk towards lifting the cup at the end of the season”.
“Am so happy and excited to join Apollon, am glad that am now part of the team”. She added
“Although I still love my former club but there’s is nothing I can do about it, is life and I need to move on”. Etim concluded.
Having joined the Apollon, Margaret will hope to make a fine debut in Cyprus when Apollon Ladies open their UEFA Women’s league campaign qualifier against Dinamo BGU on August 18th.
However, the deal that took Margaret to Apollon Ladies FC was brokered by Reel Sports management company.
