I resigned because I want new challenges – Ogunbote

    Mr Gbenga Ogunbote has disclaimed the rumors going round the media that he was sacked by the management of Rangers International FC of Enugu because he refused to use some players and other issues.

    The Oracle has he is fondly called by his fans made this know in an interview with Obadare of NaijaFM Ibadan on Friday.

    “I left Rangers International FC of Enugu because I want new challenges.”

    When he was asked about his interest in managing Shooting Stars FC he said

    “I’m not aiming for shooting stars job because myself and the current manager are friends and he was my assistant when I was there and I so much believe in his ability to tutor the Oluyole warriors so I’m very much in support of the manager.”

    Finally the Oracle gave an hint to where he’s to go next as he promised to announce his next employer soon.

    “My next appointment as the manager will be announced very soon and I greet every member of Nigeria and my fans to have a great weekend ahead.”

    Gbenga Ogunbote played the last CAF Confederation Cup and reached the group stage and also qualify the same team for CAF Confederation Cup this year.
