Seven new players have signed the dotted lines of contract form to feature for Ibom Angels Football Club.
The players are Effiom-awan Effiom, Marylen Edem both from Pelican Stars, while Unyime Johnson and Ekaete Akpata are from Edo Queens.
Others are Rabi Ihiabe from Bayelsa Queens, Jennifer Oliver from Dove City and Juliet Bassey from Rivers Angels.
In the meantime, the match in Lafia between Nasarawa Amazon and FC Robo, which is the official match opener for the season is tagged “Safe Home Campaign” according to NWFL as EU-UN Spotlight Initiative has officially announced a partnership with the NWFL on the “Safe Home Campaign”.
In the fixtures earlier released by the NWFL Board indicate that the Orange Ladies, officially known as Ibom Angels Football Club will play host to Osun Babes Football Club at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium training pitch.
Other fixtures show that Bayelsa Queens Fc will welcome Sunshine Queens Fc in Yenogoa, as the Confluence Queens Fc will tackle Rivers Angels Fc at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja, while Delta Queens Fc will be at home to face Dreams Stars Ladies from Lagos, Uniben Sports Complex will be the venue for the match between Edo Queens Fc and Royal Queens Fc. The highest league winners of the NWFL-Premiership Pelican Stars of Calabar will be visitors to Abia Angels in Umuhia.
