It is a panic worthy moment as Leicester and Nigerian International, Wilfried Ndidi has been ruled out of upcoming crucial games after being reported to have suffered a groin injury in their previous games against Burnley.

Ndidi, 23, a defensive midfielder for both club and country has been faithfully perpetuated recently as a center back under Brendan Rogers due to lack of options and has dealt a major injury blow with him preparing to miss international games in October in a faceoff between Super Eagles of Nigeria and Tunisia/Ivory coast respectively.

This means Gernot Rohr must begin to assess other options ahead of these games to ensure no dearth is detected in Ndidi’s role. Reports has revealed that this is the first time Ndidi has suffered from a groin injury and with this, he has joined the roster of injured players in Leicester city.

Due to his versatility, he is a player who plays vital role for both club and country and would be greatly missed as expressed by his Manager, Rogers “Wilf is a player that I have confidence in. He played the position (centre back) well and he has the attributes to play there. We don’t want him there for a long period of time“.

It is now confirmed by Brendan Rogers to the Press that Ndidi might be out for about 12 weeks or more as he has missed out when his team clashed against Arsenal on Wednesday English cup and will miss as well an exhilarating matchup against former back to back EPL champions, Manchester city. His generative influence has seen Leicester city standing tall at the top of EPL table following their two matches won so far.
