KSFC21: Kwara Deputy Governor, Kayode Alabi Declares Competition Open

Kwara State Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi earlier on Wednesday declared the fourth edition of the Kwara Schools Football Challenge (KSFC) open.

Alabi who was the special guest of honour at the opening ceremony of the competition which held at the premises of the Kwara Football Academy (KFA) lauded the initiative for its collegiate nature.

While stressing that the current administration of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will continue to do its best for sports development noting that the idea of KSFC represent the vision of the government in helping young and talented footballers realised their potentials.

The competition will involve 16 schools across the state and it will run from the 19th to 27th of May with a football quiz among all the participating schools also scheduled to hold on 26th of May.

KSFC is an initiative of Kwara Football Academy anchored on its resolve to discover and nurture football talents to stardom.

A total number of 8 matches will be played today.
