Kwara United General Manager Bashir Badawiy has described his Chairman Kumbi Titiloye as a great motivator thanking God for the opportunity to work with the former Boss of Football College, Abuja.
There is no doubt about the fact that Kumbi Titiloye is one of the best football administrators in Nigeria considering the number of players he has in Europe and how he has been able to write his name in gold as far as soccer is concerned.
Bashir Badawiy on the other hand has been in football administration for years and had stint as Coordinator at Rivers United before becoming the General Manager of Kwara United last season.
And since he was announced as the General Manager of Kwara United thanks to His Excellency Governor Abdulrahman who found him worthy, the working relationship between Bashir Badawiy and Kumbi Titiloye has been superb and fascinating.
Speaking to Kwara United media on Sunday night after the club’s win over Sunshine Stars, Bashir Badawiy stated clearly that he has never regretted working with Kumbi Titiloye.
He also thanked the State Government, fans and lovers of Kwara United for the love and support shown to the club so far this season stressing that the club will achieve success this term.
“I am always happy everyday because Kumbi Titiloye is a motivator and he remains one of the best Chairmen I have ever worked with in the history of my football career as manager.
“I also want to thank His Excellency for the continuous support morally and financially for Kwara United everytime,” Badawiy explained.
Meanwhile, Kwara United are currently occupying fourth position on the NPFL table, and the Harmony Boys will be traveling to Uyo on Monday morning for their next game against Dakkada on Wednesday.
