LSFA Chairman Donates ₦1 Million to Flying Eagles Ahead of WAFU B U20 Championship Final Against Ghana

In a significant show of support, Lagos State Football Association Chairman, Hajji Gafar Olawale Liameed, has presented a ₦1 million donation to Nigeria’s Flying Eagles ahead of their crucial WAFU B U20 Championship final. The gesture comes as the team prepares to face Ghana in what promises to be an exciting Jollof Derby on Wednesday.

“I am giving this to the Flying Eagles to motivate them. I donated to give the team my support to inspire them,” declared Hajji Gafar during his media address on Tuesday. The LSFA chairman emphasized the importance of motivation in achieving results, stating, “It is my conviction that the team deserve to be motivated ahead of the final against Ghana.”

Expressing his unwavering confidence in the team, Hajji Gafar further explained his philanthropic gesture: “I am an advocate of motivation for the result. That is why I have come to lift the team’s spirit. I believe in the Flying Eagles and will continue to support the team.” His donation adds to the growing support list from prominent Nigerians who have recognized the team’s exceptional performance in Lome.

The Flying Eagles have garnered widespread support from notable figures across Nigeria, including Senator Barau Jibrin, Premier League stars Wilfred Ndidi and Taiwo Awoniyi, as well as distinguished individuals such as Frank Peters, Mr Victor Apugo, Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony, and Barrister Kenneth Agadugba.
