Orlando City FC hosted CF Montreal Impact at the magnificent Exploria Stadium in one of the MLS games in the early hours of Thursday.
And with the likes of Ex Manchester United and Portuguese International, Nani expected to do the damage for the home team, it was the away side the rather took the lead when fullback Mathieu Choiniere scored from close range in the 18th minute.
Nani got his marching order in 35th minute for halting Djordje Mihailovic’s attacking move and soon Romell Quioto increased the tally for Montreal.
Two goals from Robin Jansson and Ruan in the 40th and 63rd minutes gave Orlando City the glimmer of hope but substitute Lappalainen scored before Sunusi who came on in the 78th minute scored with his first touch in the 80th minute.
Sunusi however could had added a second with Orlando’s goalkeeper insight safe for a professional foul by Andreas Perea halted his move as the latter was handed a red card as Orlando City ended the game on red.
With this performance, Sunusi Ibrahim was rated 8.8 tied with Romell Quioto despite playing for just 12 minutes in the game.
This will however be Sunusi Ibrahim’s second goal of the current season.
