NNL21: Joshua Excited With Fifth Clean Sheets In Vandrezzer Win

Ekiti United goalkeeper Joshua Oladeji is full of excitement following his side 1-0 over Lagos based Vandrezzer football club on Sunday at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium Ado-Ekiti.

Tony Silver’s second half penalty goal was enough as the Ekiti state based team bagged all three points at the expense of the Lions to move up to third on the NNL Group B1 standing with 27 points behind Shooting Stars and Go-Round Fc who occupies the 1st and 2nd position respectively.

The goalkeeper in a chat with our correspondent expressed his excitement after the win with a clean sheets but insist it wasn’t an easy task to achieve.

“I am excited picking up another clean sheets, super excited over the teams victory tho it didn’t come that easy but with hard work on the pitch we where able to get the results we wanted”, he said.

“Vandrezzer we all know are a good team with quality players, we lost to them in Lagos we knew it wasn’t going to be easy here but at the end we did it”,

The goalkeeper insist he will keep working hard for more clean sheets as the NNL21 season progressess.

Ekiti United will travel to Anambra for their next game against Nenwi United.
