The first Ibom derby of 2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league season between Akwa United and Dakkada FC ended in goalless draw.
Both Akwa Ibom State-owned team squared up against each other at the Nest of Champions in Uyo on Monday which was beamed live on Nigeria Television Authority and NPFL TV.
It was a game of few chances as both sides offered little or nothing all through the encounter.
Heartland led the game twice but Kastina Utd showed their fighting spirit to equalize and eventually won the match.
Uchechukwu opened the game in the 2nd minutes for Heartland but M. Boubacar equalized in the 44th minutes for Katsina Utd.
The Naze Millionaires went in front again for the second time through Samuel Nnoshiri in the 81st minutes but Katsina United turned the tie around and scored twice in the 88th minutes and in 92nd minutes.
