Team Nigeria would have to have to pull the chestnuts out of the fire, if they are to progress in the Pre-Olympic qualifying event in Erzurum, Turkey.
Nigeria has been drawn in group B alongside Czech Republic who are ranked 16th, Austria who are ranked 19th, Finland ranked 24th, Hungry ranked 32ndand Slovenia who are ranked 38th.
Nigeria are ranked 46th but the federation president believes the team can surprise the world, ‘’It is a difficult group but I believe Nigeria can shock the world, we have beaten France before, we have shocked bigger nations and we are still in the business of surprising higher ranked Nations.’’ Damola Daniel was quoted as saying.
The Pre-Olympic qualifying event runs from the 10th to the 15th of October 2021 in Erzurum Turkey, and Nigeria would begin the campaign against Czech Republic.
