Oyo State Football Association Directs Supporters and Fans of 3SC And Crown FC to Stay At Home

The Oyo State Football Association has appealed to supporters and fans of the both teams (Shooting Stars FC and Crown FC) representing the state at the NNL the second tier division to stay at home in the remaining matches of the league, in accordance with directives from the Nigeria Football Federation NFF.

In a statement signed by the secretary of association Mr Kehinde Ojelowo in Ibadan, noted that the decision to restrict fans and supporters from the stadium became vital following the latest circular sent to various State FAs.

According to the statement, henceforth spectators will not be allowed into the Stadium to watch matches pending when the football authorities lift the ban on fans to return to match venues.

The FA urges all stakeholders and football enthusiasts to accept the present reality, pointing out that the move for fans not to watch the team was not intentional but to avoid NFF harmer.

It explains that failure for fans to stay at home is a clear violation of COVID 19 protocol as prescribed by the Presidential Task Force PTF on COVID 19, Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and Nigeria Football Federation.

Finally we wish to inform all supporters and fans failure to abide by the regulations as stated above will amount to severe punishment of the individual or groups by the law enforcement agencies as the FA will take as point of duty to manage all the entrances at both venues (Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode and LAUTECH Main Bowl, Ogbomoso)
