The government of Senegal is building a new stadium in Diamniadio, an emerging lake city under construction in Dakar.
According to Afrinews247, Diamniadio Olympic Stadium, will be a multi-purpose stadium, which can host football, rugby and athletics, in Diamniadio, in Dakar, Senegal. It will be the national stadium of the Senegal national football team.
The stadium will have a capacity of 50,000 is being built by Summa construction company.
The New Edifice will be hosting the 2026 Summer Youth Olympics when completed.
