Three Stars Oluyole Warriors Disunites Osun United

Shooting Stars of Ibadan recorded another maximum three points with 3-0 home victory against Osun United to extend their lead in group B1 in the ongoing Nigeria National League (NNL) to 9 points.

A first half goal came from Olufemi Opeoluwa at the 32nd minute of play after connecting a cross by Taiwo Muritala who was given a through pass by Ayobami Junior.

Osun United came all out into the match to redeem the goal scored but the efforts were fruitless as Shooting doubled the lead in the 52nd minute through Olukokun who slotted in from 6 yards while Gbadamosi completed the treble with a sublime free kick in the 82nd minute.

After the game Osun United gaffer Coach Bright Omakaro blames the refree for not allowing the free flow of the game.

“I don’t care the number of goals we might have conceeded but the refree should have allowed free flow of the game and is this how shooting stars play in ibadan?”

The home grown coach, Edith Agoye apprecited the fans for the supports and urged them to continue to support the team as the government are currently doing.

“As you can see we utilized the few chances we had today and the goals came in at the right time. I will use this medium to appreciate the state government for the supports and motivation from the commissioner for youth and sports development Mr. Seun Fakorede. The fans are not left out and we will continue to make them happy”

Osun United will host Dynamite Force of Edo State in the week 4 fixtures holding next weekend while 3sc will be guests to FC Nilayo of Abeokuta.
