National President of Football Fans Club of Nigeria FFCN, Ambassador Oluwakemi Ogunfuwa has hailed the Chairman, House Committee on Sports, Senator Obinna Ogba on the proposed bills on the Establishment of National Sports Commission and Federal Sports University Nkalagu, Ebonyi State.
The bill which has scaled through the second reading at the Public hearing, the House committee last week sent a short invitation notice to the National President of Football Fans Club of Nigeria, FFCN, Ambassador Oluwakemi Ogunfuwa to come to the House on the position of the Supporters’ Club on the proposed bills on the establishment of National Sports Commission and Federal Sports University, Nkalagu, Ebonyi State.
The invitation dated July 8,2021 reads:

Invitation to A Public Hearing On The Establishment of National Sports Commission Bill and Federal Sports University, Nkalagu Ebonyi State.
The Senate at its sitting on Thursday, December 10th, 2020 and Wednesday May 19th ,2021 read the underlined bill the second time and referred them to the committee for further legislative actions.
(a) National Sports Commission (Establishment Bill, 2020. SB.202) and
(b) Federal Sports University Nkalagu, Ebonyi State(Establishment Bill 2021.SB.138.
In view of the above, I’m directed to inform you as one of the Stakeholders to the Public Hearing Scheduled as follows:
Date: July 8th, 2021
Venue: Conference Hall 022, New Senate Building, National Assembly, Abuja.
Time: 12noon.
Note that you are to submit twenty (20) hard copies and a soft copies of your presentation to the Committee Clerk(phone number) SB.39 , Basement, White House, National Assembly, Abuja on or before Tuesday, July 6th, 2021.

Ogunfuwa also noted that the nation will benefit immensely from establishment of Federal Sports University as the real technocrats will come handy for the federations
