The Oyo State Football Association has congratulated Oyo state governor Engr Oluwaseyi Makinde on the achievement of Shooting Stars FC clinching the NPFL ticket.
In a statement signed by the secretary of the Football Association Mr Ojelowo, the association FA Chairman HRH Oba Oluyemi James Odeniran, Alakinyele of Akinyele congratulated the governor for his feet promoting the Oyo state darling team (3SC).
“The people’s man Governor Seyi Makinde promised us that he will do everything humanly possible to get us the ticket by supporting the team with all that is required to getting the NPFL ticket”
“We want to thank the Governor for keeping to his promise and also reviving sports in the state”
Recall that Engr Seyi Makinde had just opened the newly upgraded Lekan Salami Stadium to an international standard.
Shooting Stars FC gained the promotion ticket after the demolition of the Ekiti United team by six goals to top the table after an impressive season in the NNL.
