The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) National Headquarters has disowned Mr Niyi Alebiosu the former OYO SWAN Chairman in a statement sent out by the admin secretary Mr Habila Ibrahim Ramako in Abuja.
The attention of the National Secretariat of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has been drawn to a case of impersonation by one Niyi Alebiosu who is parading himself as the chairman of SWAN in Oyo State.
He is said to be organising a programme on behalf of the Association and inviting unsuspecting members of the public.
Nothing can be further from the truth as the said Niyi Alebiosu has since seized to be the chairman of the Association in Oyo State.
A new election supervised by the SWAN National Secretariat and Oyo State Council of NUJ has taken place with an executive Jed by Mr. Fawole Olaolu elected to pilot the affairs of the Association in Oyo State.
Furthermore, the said Niyi Alebiosu is currently before a Grade A Customary Court in Mapo, Ibadan for being in possession of the Association’s property after leaving office.
The impostor has also seized to be a member of the Association following his voluntary withdrawal said by the Administrative Secretary.
