The Football Club Owners Association of Nigeria have expressed joy over the great performances of Nigeria representatives in the CAF Competitions so far.
Nigeria Flag bearers in the CAF champions League Rivers United FC won their first leg encounter with a scintillating 3-0 over visiting Liberian side Watanga FC , while Plateau United FC secured a vital 2-2 draw in Gabon against Stade Mandji FC.
In the CAF Confederation cup, Kwara United defeated AS Douanes of Niger Republic 3-0 in Lagos while Remo Stars got a vital point in far away Morocco with ASFAR pulling a 1-1 draw.
“The results were good for the four NPFL Clubs and they deserve our commendations”, said Club Owners Association in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman Chief Barr Isaac Danladi and the Executive Secretary Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka.
The Association charged the four representative clubs to use the second leg games to consolidate their Results to move to the next round.
Club Owners assured them of maximum support and prayers as they seek to bring honours to Nigeria.
