Akeem Busari has resigned as the chief coach of Gateway United FC following a 2-3 home loss to Nnewi United in the match day three of the 2018/2019 Nigeria National League season.
This was done after the management led by the Acting General Manager Mr Niyi Soleye expressed displeasure with the poor result while appreciating the fans for their concern but urged them not to give up on the team as all hands are on deck to turn things around.
The coach has once handled the Oluyole Warriors (Shooting Stars Sports Club) with good results mentioned in his name at the club.
