Defending Champions, Rivers Angels earned their first win of the campaign after thumping Delta Queens 6-2.
Oghenebrume Ikekua bagged a brace in the 18th and 20th minutes respectively for the hosts.
Michael Angel scored an own goal in favour of Rivers Angels in the 22nd minute, while three more goals from Maryann Ezenagu, Deborah Abiodun, and Cecilia Nku propelled Rivers Angels to a 6-2 victory. Dominance Odubanjo scored two goals for Delta Queens.
Sunshine Queens 2-0 Confluence Queens
Sunshine Queens played an impressive attacking game against Confluence Queens at the Akure Township Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Seun Fakunle open scoring in the eighth minute before Goodness Onyebuchi doubled the hosts advantage in the 59th minute.
