Season five of the Next Media Star an initiative of Sammy Wejinya a media professional and a veteran in the field of journalism.
The annual mentoring program for upcoming young and vibrant youth is designed to take the young lads through the nitty-gritty of the media profession by the veterans in the field.
According to the convener the media director of the Olympic Marseille Football Academy in Nigeria, the annual mentoring program has been his pet project and a way of giving back to the society.

The event kicks off from 10 am today Thursday at the prestigious Swiss Spirit Hotels and Suites, Stadium Road, Port Harcourt.
