Workaholic Midfielder Henry Ndedi has teamed up with newly promoted Nigeria Professional Football League side, Shooting Stars of Ibadan from Nigeria National League side, FC Nilayo.
The powerful midfielder played an integral part of the FC Nilayo team that finished fourth in the NNL last season.
Contracts formalities have been concluded and he’s expected to be unveiled by the Edith Agoye tutored side in the coming days.
General manager of FC Nilayo, Mr. Lekan Kelani who confirmed Henry’s departure noted that Shooting Stars have got a reliable professional who will dutifully defend the colours of the Oluyole Warriors on and off the pitch.
In his words “It’s a good one for Shooting Stars, they have an engine room in Henry, he is a great addition to their squad, we wish him all the best and we hope to see him at bigger stages in the coming years”.
Henry Ndedi alongside Kabiru Popoola formed a solid partnership in the midfield at FC Nilayo last season, the new Shooting Stars signing played all but two games as FC Nilayo showed extreme resilience in the second tier.
