The ex-nigerian international and a board member of Oyo State Football Association, Mr Mutiu Adepoju gave hints as to how Nigeria can qualify for the Finals of the ongoing AFCON in Egypt.
He said this in an interview with the www.goalintense.com.ng correspondent.
“The first two games wasn’t too fantastic but as the game progresses there was an improvement which is a good thing for team game no like football”
“I observed when we are leading we always slow down the pace of the game which has cost us so much not untill we have to step up our game so I’m advising Team to show the Naija Character throughout the game and not be complacent in dealing with the opponent.”
“I have seen the Algerian team played and they are always running so if we slow down our pace of the game or tactics it might be counter productive. But we have got great guys who can the finishing and seal the final spot for the team.”
“I wish the team a great outing on Sunday with a comfortable victory over the Algeria National team.” Super Eagles will be playing the semi final game against the Algeria National team on Sunday 14th July, 2019.
