The 18th of March 2022 was a day of celebration of women across Africa and most especially those active and viable women of Nigerian descent at The Feminine Nigeria Achievement Award 2022.
The Award was the maiden edition for Nigerian women after years of the awards for Ghanaian women by the She Achievers initiative, a convergence for successful and outstanding women in Africa.
The event was an award and recognition day for exemplary women organized by Baroness Paulette Kporo, the CEO, Business Executive group Africa as well as the launch of the She Achievers Initiative in Lagos, Nigeria.
The event witnessed the presence of women of substance in and outside Nigeria such as Prof. (Mrs) Goski Alabi, Consulting President, Laweh Open University, Mrs. Folakemi Oloye, CEO Teal Harmony Designs, Dr. Markieren Idowu, CEO Xpress Payment Solutions, Mrs. Olatokunbo Doherty, Chairperson of RCCG elders, Lagos province amongst many other awardees and guests.
The award ceremony witnessed a tremendous show of appreciation from the awardees as many of them reacted positively about the inspiration derived from the award received and how becoming members of She Achievers initiative will go a long way in inspiring them to do more as outstanding women.
Amongst many others were Engr. Dr (Mrs) Olufunke Olanike Akinkurolere, Rector, Ogun State Institutes of Technology, Mrs Oyindamola Sonola, Low Cost No Cost Initiative, Chief Rotarian Kamlesh Jain, Change maker President, Rotary club of Lagos as NACCIMA Business Women Group were also represented.
The Feminine Nigeria Achievement Award is here to stay as She Achievers group in Nigeria will do more to celebrate women achievers for greater participation of women in business, career, collective and personal development.
This will indeed also go a long way in the quest for more women participation in Nigeria and in the African political scene.
