Plateau United Fidelis Ilechukwu has endorsed the forthcoming H & B Global Sports Coaching workshop for coaches in Jos and indeed Nigeria.
The two-day event with the theme: ‘Modern-day Coach Workshop’, will hold at the Mees Palace, Rayfield Jos, from
20th to 21st October. Dr. (Amb.) Henry Abiodun -a certified NFF/CAF Instructor will be leading the workshop.
According to Ilechukwu: “Coaching is about passion and it takes knowledge, experience and education to be successful in the job.
“It’s very important that our coaches focus on the quality of education, by attending certified coaching workshops. It builds their human capacity too.”
“The H & B Global Sports Coaching workshop is designed with the developing trends in football, to enhance the performance of coaches in matches.
“They can learn one or two things from the new training sessions, match analyses and new football technics from the instructors.
” It’s coaches that bring out the best from players; so when he or she does not have sound football knowledge, that talented player will not grow.
“There are a lot of vibrant football coaches in Jos and Nigeria, so I want to urge them to attend the H & B Global Sports Coaching workshop.
“On my part, I will be supporting a few coaches to participate in the workshop, as it will go a long way to helping me too.”
The participation fee is 25k, as registration is to close on October 15.
