Cameroon have outplayed host Nigeria as they registered their second win in the ongoing U18 African Nation’s Volleyball Champions in Abuja. It was a straight set affair 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-22) at the indoor sport hall.

Cameroon attacked with purpose and led 6-2 within a few minutes. The Cameroonian were on form as they prove too strong and ran clear to take the set 25-14.

In the second set Cameroon took the first point and a number of errors from Nigeria put the lioness firmly in front at 16-9. Nigeria tried to put in some bit of energy in to narrow the gap however the host were put into more misery when Cameroon sealed the set 25-15.

The young Nigeria side, put all their technique, talent and skill to match the Cameroon side, but the resilient, monster blocks, killer spikes of the Cameroonian team was too strong for the host to defend. Cameroon were already running away with the 3rd set with 8-4 lead at the first technical timeout.

Nigeria came out strong from the break and leveled it at 12 all. The crowd went wild as their team fought to win. Nigeria led 16-15 in the second technical timeout.

The game got intense with point to point affair, Cameroon were force to go into a timeout as Nigeria led 21-20. After an amazing display Cameroon killed it at 25-22 to win 3-0.
