The Executive Chairman of Ibadan’s Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, urged the team to secure maximum points against Rivers United this Sunday. Akoro, accompanied by General Manager Dimeji Lawal, met with the players and officials after Thursday’s morning training session. The meeting aimed to boost the team’s morale before the important matchday 35 fixture at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.
During his address, Akoro praised the players for their excellent performance against Abia Warriors last Sunday. He emphasized the importance of building on that success with another victory over Rivers United. “We have a target, and I believe it is still achievable if we keep winning our games. I am urging you to go to Port Harcourt and secure the maximum points,” Akoro stated, highlighting the continued support from the fans.
Captain Malomo Taofeek responded on behalf of the players, expressing the team’s readiness to fight until the end. He assured that they are committed to securing a victory on Sunday.
