Coach Gbenga Ogunbote, has signed a new two-year contract with Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC). The CAF A License coach’s renewed commitment follows a successful season where 3SC finished 4th on the league table last season.
In a post-match interview during the Valujet Preseason Tournament, Ogunbote expressed his excitement about the new deal: “It is an exciting moment after a long discussion, and we would make the club great together.” His vision for the team extends beyond maintaining last season’s success, with a clear focus on securing a spot in continental competitions.
“We hope to continue from where we stopped last season, and anything short of a continental ticket is a no-no,” Ogunbote declared, underlining his determination to elevate 3SC to new heights. With his leadership and strategic insights, Ogunbote aims to guide Shooting Stars to greater domestic and continental success.
